The Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League's Divisional final starts today (February 25) for the Airdrie Xtreme.

The Xtreme, who knocked off the Calgary Southeast Tigers in two straight in an earlier series, face off against the Lethbridge Golden Hawks this afternoon at 1:15 pm in Airdrie's Ron Ebbesen Arena.

The Golden Hawks also advanced with a two-game series victory over the Red Deer Rebels.

Airdrie finished first in the Ram South Division of the AMBHL with a 25 - 5 and 6 record while the Golden Hawks came third, eight points back of the Xtreme at 22 - 10 and 4.

The two teams met five times this season with Airdrie winning twice and the Golden Hawks once.  Two other games ended in ties.

Game two in the series is set for Tuesday night in Lethbridge with game three, if necessary, back at Ron Ebbesen at 6:00 pm Wednesday night.
