Lake Louise man wins big on EXTRA ticket bought in Calgary

A Lake Louise man says he needed his wife to double-check his ticket after winning $100,000 on the EXTRA lottery. James Gonzales bought his LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Lucky Supermarket on Sunridge Way in Calgary. His ticket matched the last six digits in the Aug. 26 EXTRA draw: 2396373. “I didn’t believe it,” Gonzales said. “I thought it was $10,000… I had to have my wife look at it to confirm.” Gonzales said he plans to pay off a new vehicle, put a down payment on a home, and take his family on a possible cruise. “It just feels overwhelming.
