With some fresh faces and many others returning the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce has it's Board of Directors.

"I'm pleased to announce that our slate for 2015/2016 was voted in," says Lorna Hunt, Executive Director of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce.

Wade Cormier let his name stand as Chamber President while Linda Bruc and Sandi Christensen will be 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents. Kelly Bourdreau maintains his seat as Treasurer to round out the Chamber Executive.

Ten other directors are named to the board, four continuing their two year term including Lois Jones, Brian Balson, Pete Lewis and Carman Thiessen. The other six were newly elected or re-elected to another 2 year term.

Wendy Potter, Darryl Talbot and Glenn Smaha are the newly elected directors while Derek Lalonde, Kerry Bostick and Lynn Kehoe are back on the board.

Hunt says she's intrigued at how the new directors help the Airdrie business community and what they will do the shape the next year for the Airdrie Chamber.

"A lot of them are business owners or managers and so we're looking forward to their insight on the future of the chamber and they all bring different skill sets to the board which is exciting."
