11 more cases of COVID-19 have been added to Airdrie's total and active cases have increased to 81.

According to the latest stats from the province, two more Airdronians have recovered from the virus, for a total of 167.

In Rocky View County, active cases have decreased by one to 22 and three more recoveries have been reported for a total of 150.

Both the City of Airdrie and Rocky View County remain under 'Watch' status. Airdrie's mandatory mask bylaw will only kick in if the province upgrades the city to 'Enhanced' status.

The City of Calgary and the Edmonton region are the only jurisdictions currently under the province's 'Enhanced' status where additional measures have been put in place.

The province confirmed 622 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, based on close to 13,000 test results.

Active cases across Alberta have topped 5,000 and currently sit at 5,172. Recoveries have increased to 22,169.

Total hospitalizations have gone up by 10 to 140, including 25 in ICU, an increase of seven since Thursday.

Five more deaths have been reported for a total of 323.
