Airdrie's Madison Bonsel is wearing the red and white this weekend as she competes with the Canadian Junior Team in the World Ringette Championships.

Bonsel plays in the National Ringette League for the Calgary Wrath, where she's put up four assists so far this season.

In her career as a ringette player, Bonsel already has a Provincial Championship under her belt. She also won a silver medal at the National Tournament in 2015.

So far the Canadian Junior team has dominated the World Championships, going undefeated in exhibition play and winning their first game yesterday (November 30th).

Canada plays the Finnish team in a best of three series which continues tomorrow.

The World Championships wrap up with the Gold Medal Game on December 3rd in Mississauga, Ontario.
