Further investigation by the Airdrie RCMP has revealed a third suspect in an armed robbery that took place on January 31st at an Airdrie car dealership and the police are asking the public for assistance in identifying him.

Originally the RCMP said they were seeking public assistance to identify a man and a woman that were linked to a vehicle that was used in the armed robbery.

A series of incidents began on January 31st at 3:30 am when Airdrie RCMP responded to a break and enter at House of Cars in the city.  A male suspect was caught on video surveillance as he left the dealership.

The same day at 4:50 pm the RCMP responded to a second incident at the dealership.  A man had attempted to steal a car and when dealership employees intervened he pointed a firearm at them.

That suspect was picked up from the scene by a second suspect who was driving a black Ford Flex with Alberta license plate YSC 101.  The vehicle had been reported stolen.

Then on February 2nd at 3:15 am Airdrie RCMP located the same vehicle and pursued it into Calgary.  Before that pursuit began, a female passenger was caught on a business video surveillance system.

You can see pictures of the first two suspects here.

If you have any information regarding this investigation or can identify any of these three suspects you're asked to contact the Airdrie RCMP at 403 945-7200 or call your local police.
